Developed by a qualified beauty therapist and esthetician, Katie Fisher, with over 10 years experience in the beauty industry, Honest skincare is the result of a personal passion for organic skincare and a wish to avoid skin irritants and harsh, artifically perfumed beauty products.

Working in the beauty therapy industry Katie found she was helping her clients adjust their routines and beauty regimes to help them find a healthy, organic approach to skincare.  At the same time Katie became interested in the products, what were the ingredients that irritate skin and cause flare ups?  

"I was trying to find products that didn't cause skin flare ups for my clients, and I have problem skin of my own which is sensitive and reacts to artificial synthetic ingredients.  I know how careful one has to be to avoid skin irritations, and how using simple products helps keep very sensitive skin looking fresh and clear."

Katie was trained in delivering spa treatments using some of the best natural products available on the professional market, but still even some of the really successful brands produced reactions in ultra sensitive skin, even from natural perfumes.  So with an ongoing desire to help others, Katie began to produce a dedicated range of natural skincare products for the salon and spa market.
